“Be Authentic And True To Reach More Audience”-Koel Mallick
By holding its first “Creator Day” in Kolkata, Meta (previously Facebook) today demonstrated its dedication to creators in West Bengal and across the nation.
“Creator Day” is Meta’s yearly signature event honoring creators and giving them a chance to create, collaborate, and learn from one another. The event will be held in 5 cities in 2022: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and Delhi. Meta gave the attendees the chance to engage and meet their favorite creators.
Creators Mahamuda Khatun, Praveen Sethia, Pawan Kumar, Puja Kumari, Sneha Kumari, Aisha Madhi, Happy Prince, and Trina Saha served as the event’s ambassadors, appearing in outdoor advertisements that were shown in various sections of the city. Finally, over 300 creators attended the event and had the chance to listen to seminars on the best ways to collaborate with other creators, on brand collaborations, on creating the finest reels, and on creator wellbeing.
Trina Saha and RJ Praveen highlighted the fact that one must be original and be true to themselves. That will help the creators to reach out to more people and gain popularity.
Additionally, it was an opportunity to highlight Meta’s most recent collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which provides artists with a stage on a large scale to perform and display their skills. As part of it, Meta is sending a “Reels squad” to Australia. A “Reels squad” is a group of creators chosen to take part in special events, and in this case, they will produce content alongside cricket players from all of the World Cup-playing teams. You may access all of this content with #ReelsSquadIndia.
The event also featured actor Koel Mallick, who spoke with the creators and said, “The enthusiasm and originality I witness from Kolkata creators is wonderful and encouraging. I frequently browse through your Reels on Facebook and Instagram and find the community you are creating to be impressive. Congratulations to Meta for organizing this gathering of the creator community in West Bengal, for motivating the state’s youth, and for including me in the event”.
The actress also danced to many of the recent trends at the event. She also performed her songs.
The host for the event was Wonder Munna and RJ Agni.
The next cities where ‘Creator Day’ events will be organized are Chennai and Delhi. For more information on Creator Day, follow #MetaCreatorDay.
