The upcoming Bengali film Nana He is a film on the Gambhira tradition. This is among one of the most renowned folk art of Bengal. The origin of this folk art is in the Malda region. The main aspect of this folk art is the ample use of the amazing masks. It is organized during Chaitra Sankranti. Neem and Dumur trees are used to make the masks. This folk art forms the basis for this upcoming Bengali film.

Kharaj Mukherjee plays the role of a Gambhira artist. He does not want to perform commercial Gambhira. As a result, he is in exile. A girl comes from Kolkata who wants to do research on Gambhira. The girl after talking with him gets lost in the history and tradition of this folk art. It also impacts an urban boy. The film shows how a folk art tradition affects the lives of three individuals.

The cast of the film consists of Kharaj Mukherjee, Saurav Das, Sreetama De, Bimal Giri, Sreya Bhattacharya, Anjan Kanjilal, Kanchana Moitra, and others.

The directors of the film are Arunava Roy and Sayan Banerjee.

Music is one of the important assets of this film. There are nine songs in the film and maximum of them are folk songs. The music has been composed by Arunava  Roy and Tirtha Bhattacharya. Durnibar Saha, Sreya Bhattacharya, Aaheli Sarkar, and Tirtha Bhattacharya have sung the songs in the film.
