Bengali film O Bondhu Amar completed 100 days at the box office. The cast of the film consisting of Biswajit Chakraborty, Mit along with the director Sanjay Das and others graced the 100 days celebration event.

The story revolves around Ruhi and Adi. At the start of the story, Ruhi is attacked by goons. Adi tries to save her but a goon strikes her head with a rod. She becomes unconscious. Later the doctors tell her family that she has lost her memory. What happens next?

Adi is played by Mit, Adi’s mother is played by Mousumi Saha, Ruhi’s father and mother’s role is played by Arun Banerjee and Anuradha Roy. Supriyo Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee and Biswajit Chakraborty will be seen in other pivotal roles.

Speaking at the event, Biswajit Chakraborty said “It is a rare feat for a Bengali cinema to complete 100 days at the box office. The audiences loved the film and appreciated the performances and I am happy to be a part of this team”.

The story, script and lyrics are by Bethun Bera.

The director highlighted on the fact that the film had a great run in the rural areas as compared to the urban areas.

Anjan-Jay has composed the music of the film. Kumar Sanu, Palak Muchhal, Raj Barman, Zubeen Garg, Aman Trikha, Anamta have lent their voices to the songs in the film. There are four songs in the film.
