The premiere of the Bengali film ‘Parcel’ directed by Indrasis Acharya took place recently at Priya Cinema.

Presented by Rituparna Sengupta and Krishna Kyal, the film was also screened at 25th Kolkata International Film Festival and bagged an award too.

The story is about Nandini who leads a happy life with his husband Souvik and daughter Suja. Souvik and Nandini are doctors by profession though Nandini has stopped practicing for certain reasons of the past. Her perfect life turns upside down, when Nandini starts to get anonymous Parcels with her photos, flowers and other gifts. Nandini was sure someone is blackmailing her and in quest of the unknown person, she starts exploring the darker side of her life. What happens next?

The cast of the film consists of Rituparna Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Damini  Basu, Anindya Chatterjee, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Tiasa Dasgupta, Sreela Majumdar and others.

The music has been composed by Joy Sarkar.

The film will be shown at different single screens and multiplexes in Kolkata.
