Bengali Films Sweep The 27th KIFF Award Ceremony
The 27th Kolkata International Film Festival came to an end on 1st May. The winners in the various categories were presented with the awards on this day.
Gracing the occasion were Hon’ble Mayor Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Minister Indranil Sen, Hon’ble Minister Birbaha Hansda, June Malia, Santanu Basu, Raj Chakraborty, and others.
The winners of the 27th Kolkata international Film Festival 2022 are:
Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award for Best Indian Documentary Film-Nikke Manu Di Nikki Kataab directed by Shuchi Prasad
Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award for Best Indian Short Film- Geru Patra directed by Shristipal Singh
NETPAC Award for Best Film- Manikbabur Megh directed by Abhinandan Banerjee
Special Jury Award in Indian Languages’ Films Category- Prapti directed by Anuraag Pati
Hiralal Sen Memorial Award for Best Director in Indian Languages’ Films Category- Adieu Godard directed by Amartya Bhattacharya
Special Jury Award for International competition on Innovation in Moving Images- Anatomia directed by Ola Jankowska
Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award for Best Film for International competition on Innovation in Moving Images- Jhilli directed by Ishaan Ghose
