Bestselling author Durjoy Datta was in Kolkata for the launch of his book Pocketful O’ Stories. The launch took place at its South City Mall outlet of Starmark.

The book is an eclectic collection of small stories for unexpected moments of love.

The book is the outcome of ITC Engage’s crowd sourced online campaign. Out of 11200 entries, Durjoy selected 250 stories. The book also has 10 stories of Durjoy.

In a multi-city interactive book-reading series, Durjoy Datta revealed his moments of unexpected love along with reading some of the best written microtales from the book. The book was also launched at The Taj Mahal as the backdrop in Khema Lawns, Agra and in Crossword in Inorbit Mall, Malad in Mumbai.

Speaking at the event, the author said “The best way to become a good author is by continuously reading books. Atleast that is the path that I have followed. That helps a lot to develop your talent as an author”.

The assembled crowd interacted with the author and Durjoy readily answered their questions with a smile.

The paperback edition is priced at Rs 199 only.
