Bharat Bangladesh Film Awards 2019 was organized at Dhaka. The main aim of the award ceremony was to celebrate Bengali cinema of India and Bangladesh.

Present at the award show was Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Abir Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Jaya Ahsan, Agnimitra Paul and other eminent dignitaries.

In the Bangladesh segment- The Best Film went to Debi, Best Director went to Nasiruddin Yousuff, Best Actor in a Leading Role went to Siam Ahmed, Best Actress in a Leading Role went to Jaya Ahsan, Best Music went to Hridoy Khan, Most Popular Film went to Password, Life Time Achievement Award went to Anwara Begum.

In the Indian segment- The Best Film went to Nagarkirtan, Best Director went to Srijit Mukherji, Best Actor in a Leading Role went to Prosenjit Chatterjee, Best Actress in a Leading Role went to Paoli Dam, Best Music went to Bickram Ghosh, Life Time Achievement Award went to Ranjit Mallick, Special Jury Award went to Abir Chatterjee and Rudranil Ghosh.
