Bhumi Pednekar Talks About Climate Change In Australia
Bhumi Pednekar, a rising star in Bollywood, has expanded her passion project Climate Warrior to involve people all across the world. She brought up the subject of climate change in Australia and pushed people everywhere to understand that the world is on the verge of collapse.
Bhumi spoke to audiences on the importance of protecting the environment while she was in Melbourne. According to her, “Our generation is dealing with the negative effects of climate change as we speak. Everyone will have to deal with it, and it won’t just affect certain classes. In the face of nature’s wrath, we are all equal”.
She continues, “A few years ago, while my coworkers and I were traveling, we wondered what we could talk about because we were going to meet a really significant individual. I believe that the topic of climate change needs to be discussed. Although we are in a crisis, a state of emergency, and that climate change is the worst threat humanity has ever faced, nobody spoke about it at the time” said Bhumi.
“In Australia, correct me if I’m wrong, but about two years ago, wildfires were so so bad. Heartbreaking loss is occurring in Hawaii right now, including the loss of both human and animal life. India has recently been under water. Our nation’s capital, Delhi, is not accustomed to the type of monsoons that the city experienced. Right now, it should be peak summer, but it is raining. In India, there have been floods everywhere” added the actress.
According to Bhumi, there needs to be a quick protest against climate change. “We are in a situation of emergency, so I think you need a lot of individuals in positions of power to talk about climate change. Recently, the WHO and UN declared that the world is boiling and that the issue is no longer global warming. For the benefit of upcoming generations, we must do this” said Bhumi.
On the professional front, Bhumi’s next outing will be in this year’s October 6th release, Thank You For Coming!
