Swami Vivekananda is known all over the world for his bravery and fearless way of dealing with challenges. After the immense success of Jagat Janani Maa Sarada, Aakash Aath has come up with a biographical mega-serial, Yuganayak Swami Vivekananda on the life of Swami Vivekananda.

The press conference for the upcoming mega serial Yuganayak Swami Vivekananda took place at Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda‘s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre.

Eshita Surana Poddar, Priyanka Surana Bardia, Directors, Aakash Aath, Swami Jnanalokananda Ji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Safalya Debnath (Young Swami Vivekananda), Kanyakumari Chanda, Tirtha Mallick, Namita Chakraborty, Bodhisattwa Majumdar, script and dialogue writer Rakesh Ghosh and director Sushanta Bose graced the occasion.

The first phase of the serial will show the events in the life of young Vivekananda. The second phase will be about Vivekananda growing up and meeting Thakur Ramkrishna Paramhansa Deb. It will also show how after Ramkrishna Deb’s death, Vivekananda renounced the world and became a monk.

Director Sushanta Bose said, “With this serial, even if a single person can follow the ideals of Vivekananda, our mission will be served”.

Through this serial Aakash Aath will be paying tribute to the 125^th foundation day celebrations of Belur Math.

Rakesh Ghosh, script and dialogue writer said “I was a student of Ramakrishna Mission. Today when I came to Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre, it was like coming back to my roots. I have to write regularly scripts for daily soaps. However, with this serial, I got the chance to write something that I like”.

Safalya Debnath who will be seen as the young Vivekananda said “I had a great time shooting for the serial”.

The new mega-serial will be aired on Aakash Aath from 6^th June Monday to Saturday at 7 pm.

Apart from this, a new serial titled Tomaay Hridmajhare Raakhbo directed by Sajal Bose will be aired Monday to Saturday at 7.30 pm.
