Vinod Bhanushali announced his next film recently. The film is a biopic on the life of Sher Singh Rana and will be directed by Shree Narrayan Singh. This is the first association with director Shree Narrayan Singh.

Sher Singh Rana was a staunch Rajput. He became popular after he brought back the remains of the 11th-century ruler of the Chauhan Dynasty, Prithviraj Chauhan, from Kandahar, Afghanistan. Before this, he was a prisoner of Tihar Jail. Sher Singh Rana was the second man after Charles Sobhraj, who escaped this high-security jail by using mind tactics and not resorting to violence.

Director Shree Narrayan Singh said that he was intrigued by Sher Singh Rana when he read about him. He defied the Taliban and brought back the remains of Prithviraj Chauhan from Afghanistan.

Director Shree Narrayan Singh is known for telling interesting stories that also address real issues like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The producer hoped that he will do a good job with Sher Singh Rana as well.

The biopic on Sher Singh Rana is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Vishal Tyagi, Mohammed Imran Khan and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta under the banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Matargashti Films.

The makers will soon announce the cast and plan to start shooting next year.
