Bishakto Manush’s Trailer Highlights On Mental Issue Necrophilia
The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film “Bishakto Manush” took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.
Produced by Sonom Movies, the upcoming Bengali film Bishakto Manush is directed by Sunny Ray.
The film has been written by Sanjeeb Banerjee and Santanu Mukherjee.
The cast of the film consists of Subham, Saurav Das, Rupsa Chatterjee, Sumana Das, Anangsha Biswas, Rana Basu Thakur, Jina Tarafder, Sanghasri Sinha Mitra, Judhajit Sarkar, Sumita Chatterjee, Palash Haque and Bimal Giri.
The story of the film is about a struggling and mentally disturbed novelist, Agnibha Bose. He was trying to combat his personal trauma. He meets the ultimate therapist of his life, a serial killer, named Taufique Asif, who is serving a death sentence in prison. Will Agnibha be able to pull out a winning novel after three consecutive failures? What will be his relational chemistry with his publisher partner Rukmini? What are the dark hidden chapters of Taufique’s life?
Speaking at the trailer launch event, the director said “After the pandemic, talks about mental issues are happening. So I felt that this is the right time to make a film on Necrophilia. This is my first film and I am excited to see the audience’s feedback. I know I might be praised or I might be criticized. Whatever might be the reaction, I am looking forward to it”.
The writers of the film are Sanjeeb Banerjee and Santanu Mukherjee.
Sanjeeb Banerjee said “I read about Necrophilia and how the person justified from his perspective. I was intrigued by it. So I wrote down the story. I am not promoting it or glorifying this. I am just trying to showcase this mental issue from a new perspective with this story”.
