Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd, Kolkata Branch, as a part of the CSR activity and on the death anniversary of its founders Late NP Godrej and Late Dr. B P Godrej, organized Blood Donation camp on 22nd & 23rd August at Regional office Saltlake and Distribution center at Jangalpur respectively.

The camp was organized in association with Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital.

The event was inaugurated by dignitaries like Debashis Sen (IAS – NDITA), Mrs. Rahima Bibi (Mayor in Council – BMC), Pratap Roy (Officer In charge – ECPS Police Station), Mrs. Manasi Chakraborty (Gram Pradhan – Andul Gram Panchayat) and Mr. Akbaruddin Sk (Panchayat Member, Andul).

A total of 92 units of blood were collected.

The donors were handed over a Certificate of Appreciation from State Blood Transfusion Council – Govt of WB, a Donor Card, Donor Badge, and Wrist Band along with refreshments.

Employees and stakeholders participated with enthusiasm and promised to continue this noble cause for society.

The event was Coordinated by Irfan Wadood (Branch Commercial Manager), Sumit Kandulna (Manager Administration), and Mandeep Banerjee (Manager Logistics). Souvik, Soumick, Soumen, Debabrata played important role in the camp.
