Teachers were pleasantly surprised by Bobby Chakraborty’s ability to captivate teens for over 2 hours. The school counsellor approached Bobby and requested another session for the junior school. Students surrounded Bobby and demanded his autograph before leaving the auditorium. These were some compelling scenes, following the motivational anti-addiction campaign no.456, titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’, by actor/activist/method acting teacher Bobby Chakraborty, at Mahadevi Birla World Academy, which left an everlasting impression on the students in the 10th and 12th grades.

This was Bobby’s fourth session in this particular school, which reflects the strong support of the socially responsible School Management and the Principal, Anjana Saha, towards this globally acclaimed, free of charge, preventive, awareness program, against all sorts of addiction and harmful social trends, like smoking, alcoholism, smart phone addiction, obscenity on social media, betting and gambling through video games, etc., which are destroying the physical and mental health of kids.

The official photographer for this sparkling session was an extremely well-mannered and hard-working active soldier, Om Sen from the 12th grade, who was ably assisted by soldier Vanaeesa Khemani (12th), who was also given the ceremonial title of ‘The 1st Soldier’.

Soldier Arshia Haque (12th) earned the title ‘The Trendsetter’. Bobby surprised soldiers Mudit Gadia (10th), Srinika Kanrar (10th), and Eshika Jain (12th) with special prizes, HCF (Health-Career-Family) t-shirts, and Community Service Certificates.

A great session indeed.
