Bobby Chakraborty’s Great Anti-Addiction Campaign For Class 7 Students
Bobby Chakraborty, a well-known actor, activist, and method acting instructor, changed the lives and beliefs of seventh graders at South Point High School in Kolkata with his Anti Addiction Campaign. Bobby had attended this nationally renowned school for 34 sessions since 2014.
The socially conscious Principal Rupa Sanyal Bhattacharjee, Coordinator Brita Sarkar, all of the esteemed teachers, and the school administration made this 16-session program for seventh through twelfth graders—which is part of his internationally acclaimed, free, preventive awareness program for youth, against addiction and harmful popular trends—perfectly organized.
Extremely motivated pupils took part in this reformative adda session, which miraculously evolved into a tearful emotional roller coaster.
Soldier Priyam Chowdhury served as the official photographer. Bobby was so impressed by Priyam that he wanted him to participate actively in his upcoming initiatives. Adrija Maity, who was also given the significant title of “The 1st Soldier” helped him.
“Bobbydada” as he prefers to be called, talked about how crucial it is for young people, who will make up our society’s future, to make the appropriate and healthful decisions throughout their formative years. He gave numerous examples, ranging from startling contemporary events to deadly incidents in his own family, of how a person’s life reaches a point when there is no turning back if they make poor decisions and surround themselves with unsuitable people throughout their formative years.
With the students’ active participation, he covered a wide range of relevant topics, including social experiments, play acts, and harmful trends such as online gambling, smoking, alcoholism, and smartphone addiction, as well as the widespread use of abusive language, gender insensitivity, and other harmful behaviors.
Bobby prepared his soldiers to combat the social ills that could ruin their lives during these critical adolescent years by using the potent HCF (health-career-family) formula and the enchanted motto, “1 AM THE KING OF MY MIND”.
Soldier Adwitiya Dutta was given the inspirational title of “The Trendsetter”.
The soldiers Ritam, Arin, and Bratadhish won the surprise competition during the event, and along with Priyam, they were presented with unique awards, HCF t-shirts, and Bobby’s certificates of community service.
At the end of the session, there was a happy mayhem as Bobby dedicated a song to his warriors, and they surrounded him to hug him, touch his feet, take selfies, and grab his autograph wherever they could.
