An interactive talk show, “Tahder Kotha”, was organized with Brazilian legendary footballer and captain Cafu at Axis Mall recently.

The participants at this interactive talk show were Mr. Ketan Sengupta, CEO, of Bengal Peerless, Mr. Satadru Dutta, Sports Entrepreneur, and Mr. Biswajit Bhattacharya, former Indian footballer.

Cafu recounted interesting events from his life on the talk show. He claimed that before being given the chance to play for Sao Paolo, the storied Brazilian football team, he had failed nine times. Every time he returned home after failing, his father would tell him that the obstacle was merely something that God had placed in his path and that only he could get through it. He described how his talented older brother, a footballer, gave up playing to make money so that Cafu could continue to play while he was visibly moved. He also explained how a player named Cafuringa, whose playing style was similar to his, gave him the nickname Cafu. Marcos was the original name of Cafu.
