Over 300 businessmen, traders, and industrialists from the Jain community gathered at the JW Marriott Kolkata for a business meeting hosted by the Jain International Trade Organization.

JITO Chairman for the Kolkata Chapter, Bhaven Kamdar, expressed his delight at the high number of businessmen, traders, and industrialists in attendance. This is the first time since the lockdown that they have witnessed such a high level of passion from their JITO brothers. This is a special chance to network and highlight the business potential in West Bengal. They anticipate at least Rs. 1500 billion in returns on investments in the state.

The top industrialists and JITO Chairman Mr. Sukhraj Nahar (the Founder and Chairman of Nahar Group) and Mr. Abhaya Srisrimal (Chairman, LifeCell) were also present.

“This year, JITO Kolkata has brought together a constellation of businesses from around the country to Kolkata to explore business ventures in the state,” said Rohit Surana, Chief Secretary of the JITO Kolkata Chapter.

The objectives of the business meeting are:

  • Networking between business people in Kolkata and outside Kolkata.
  • Also, highlight aspects of Bengal so that investors come and invest in the state.

Not only Kolkata but Assam, North-East, and Ranchi will also be promoted in the two-day affair.

JITO wants to bring back the lost glory of Bengal. The organization wants to further the CM’s vision of making Bengal advantageous for business.

A cricket league is also happening along with this business meeting.

The business meeting will continue till Sunday afternoon.
