Cafe Bunaphile Opens At Heritage House Bhalobasha; Amazing Coffee And Great Food On Offer
Bunaphile opened its doors for the patrons of Kolkata. The 1100 square feet cafe by Sonika Dey is within the premises of heritage house Bhalobasha of Nabanita Deb Sen, wife of Amartya Sen. The heritage house has been used for the cafe to revive the old tradition of Kolkata.
The name Bunaphile is derived from two words-Buna and Phile. Buna means the art of making coffee and Phile means love.
Sonika started her own business in 2018 with Krazzy for Waffle after working in the corporate sector for a long time. The first outlet was in Jadavpur and now the brand has 12 outlets in the city. She will be opening outlets in Delhi and Bangalore as well.
Bunaphile according to Sonika is the perfect place to sip a cup of coffee and enjoy an adda session with friends. One can also sit back and work in the old heritage building with soft music playing in the backdrop. The cafe has smoking zones for smokers.
Keeping in mind the need for saving the environment, there is abundant greenery in the cafe. This will be soothing for the eyes and give a great look to the cafe.
Apart from the amazing coffee, the menu also consists of small bites. There are also lunch and dinner food items on offer. The menu has been created in such a way that no patron has to leave the cafe without getting their choice of food.
The highlight of this place is the great choice of coffee and the amazing food that is served for the patrons.
