CAHOCON 2024: An Excellent Global Summit For Healthcare Visionaries
The Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) announced the commencement of CAHOCON 2024.
It is an eminent international conclave endorsed by esteemed institutions such as ISQua, ASQua, and QCI.
The curtain raiser press briefing session was organized at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in the presence of Dr. Vijay Agarwal, President CAHO, Dr. Lallu Joseph, Secretary General, CAHO Assoc. GS & Quality Manager, CMC Vellore, Mr. Rupak Barua, Adviser – Strategy & Planning, Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Dr. Sankar Sengupta, Medical Superintendent C.N.C.I (Autonomous Institute under MOHFW, GOI), Mr. Prashant Sharma, Managing Director – Charnock Hospital, Mr. Sombrata Roy, CEO, C K Birla Hospitals CMRI, Ms. Soma Chakraborty, Vice President, Group Head – Corporate Communications, Medica Superspecialty Hospital and other eminent personalities from healthcare fraternity.
The goal of CAHOCON 2024, with the theme “Making Healthcare Efficient, Effective, Economical & Equitable,” was to bring together top healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and leaders under one roof to discuss ways to improve healthcare through thought-provoking discussions, fresh perspectives from research, problem-solving sessions, and overall healthcare transformation that benefits all parties.
The inauguration ceremony was organized in the presence of Special Chief Guest – Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor, West Bengal.
After the inaugural ceremony and address, there were engaging panel discussions led by distinguished medical experts like Dr. Alexander Thomas, Founder-President of AHPI & CAHO, Dr. Kunal Sarkar, Senior Vice Chairman & Senior Consultant of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Medica Institute of Cardiac Sciences (MICS), Dr. Sanjeev K Singh, Medical Director at AIMS, Delhi-NCR, Dr. Girdhar Gyani, Patron of CAHO and Director General of AHPI, Dr. Atul Mohan Kochhar, Chief Executive Officer of the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), Mr. Som Mittal, Chairperson of Patients for Patient Safety Foundation (PFPSF) and former President & Chairman of NASSCOM, and Dr. Vasundhra Atre, Associate Director of Medical Services at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, and others.
Participants also took part in 12 thought-provoking pre-conference workshops, which were held at different hospitals in Kolkata, in advance of the main event. Furthermore, at the Biswa Bangla Auditorium was organized the CAHO Diagnostics & Labs Conference (CAHOLABCON), which offered a forum for in-depth talks on the most recent developments in diagnostics and laboratory techniques.
With more than 2000 delegates from all around the world, CAHOCON 2024 promised an exciting program full of provocative panel discussions, stimulating debates, creative poster presentations, and esteemed prizes. The lively live quiz competition, intended to pique attendees’ interest and assess their medical knowledge, was undoubtedly the event’s high point. In addition to the summit, the Mega Industry Expo featured state-of-the-art goods and technology, creating valuable chances for networking and forming strategic partnerships inside the industry.
The event took place on 6th and 7th April at the iconic Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.
