In recent times cake mixing has become an important ritual in India. The customary cake mixing festival begins a month prior to Christmas. Like every year JW Marriott Kolkata organized the traditional cake mixing ceremony with patrons, a few in-house guests, and associates.

An assortment of fruits and nuts, spirits, dry fruits, cherries, dates, spices are thoroughly mixed and infused in spirits such as brandy, rum, and wine to make the cake.

The evening witnessed the guests don the apron, cap, and gloves, and mix the colorful mounds of dry fruits, nuts, and other concoctions to herald in the joyous Christmas season.
