Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti has been gaining the limelight from the day it was announced. The film questions the existing social norms of society. Can a woman become a priest? Is it all right for women to enter all temples?

The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti took place recently at Inox, Quest Mall.

The director of the film is Aritra Mukherjee.

The story revolves around Shabari (Ritabhari), who is a lecturer, performing artiste and also a woman priest. A chance encounter with Vikramaditya (Soham) at a college function leads to a marriage proposal. She clearly tells the would-be groom about her multiple identities. Her words are misinterpreted and Shabari is forced to keep one important part of her life under wraps due to the differences between her parent’s home and her in-laws home.

Actor Soham Majumdar will make his debut in Bengali movies with this film. Soham has also played Shahid Kapoor’s best friend in the Bollywood film Kabir Singh.

The story and screenplay has been written by Zinia Sen, the dialogues by Samragnee Bandyopadhyay and the music has been composed by Anindya Chatterjee.

Ritabhari Chakraborty, Soham Majumder will be seen in the lead roles in the film.

The film will release on 6^th March, 2020.
