The music launch of the upcoming Bengali film Prapti was graced by the cast and crew of the film.

The music of the film has been composed by Sravan Bhattacharya. The songs have been sung by Rekha Bharadwaj, Sravan Bhattacharya, and Amrita Singh. The lyrics have been penned by Ritam Sen and Sravan Bhattacharya.

The film has three songs- Raai, Raai (Reprise Version), and Shoi.

Shoma and Sunanda, who have been married for almost a year, are the protagonists of the story. Sunanda works for the forest department in the town of ‘Bari,’ in the state of ‘Bihar.’ As a result, Shoma has no choice but to stay in the area. Shoma, on the other hand, appears to be unconcerned about anything in her family. Nothing can make her forget about ‘Bedey da,’ her true love. Shoma keeps writing letters to Bedey da, but no one responds. Bedey da shows up unannounced at Sunanda’s house one day to meet Shoma. Shoma’s mind is filled with an inexplicable joy. “Prapti” is about the moments created that day by these two pure souls.

The presenter of the film is Pratyusha Roslin and the production house is Prantika Productions.

Debdut Ghosh said “This film is based on a story by eminent Bengali author Buddhadeb Guha. Though he is no longer with us, this film is a tribute to him. We all have tried our level best to make a good film. And now we hope that the audience loves the film as much as we enjoyed making it”.

The film won a Special Jury Award in the Indian Languages’ Films Category at the 27th KIFF.

“The film won a Special Jury Award at the 27^th KIFF and the feedback from the audience was also great. I hope that we receive as much love from the audience when the film releases in the theatres” said Samadarshi Dutta.

The director of the film is Anuraag Pati and the story is by Buddhadeb Guha.

The cast of the film includes Samadarshi Dutta, Pratyusha Roslin, Debdut Ghosh, and Ananya Pal Bhattacharya.

The film is releasing on 10^th June.
