A rare and excellent example of adaptive reuse of a historic property for the public welfare, the project involves an investment of more than Rs. 250 crore. Additionally, the hospital is expected to create almost 1,000 jobs, making a substantial economic contribution to the area.

The hospital has a prime location just 500 meters from Girish Park Metro Station and has good access to Burrabazar, Jorasanko, Nimtala Ghat Street, and Vivekananda Road. The hospital guarantees convenient access to top-notch tertiary care for the heavily populated central business and residential districts of Kolkata, with several access points and plenty of parking spaces.

World-class facilities at Charnock Lohia Hospital are intended to provide comprehensive tertiary and critical care services. The 250-bed institution has more than 90 ward beds, 20 private cabins, and 70 intensive care unit beds for various critical care specializations.
