The trailer launch of Cheene Badaam was graced by director Shieladitya Moulik, Ena Saha, Yash Dasgupta, and others.

The story of the film is about Rishav who is from a technical background and develops a mobile app called Cheene Badam (Peanuts). This app helps to find friends for lonely people. His girlfriend Trishna helps him in making this app. However, with this project, their personal relationship is turned topsy-turvy. They turn to the app for finding friends. What happens next?

“This is a new-age story for the new generation. People are appreciating the concept of the film and the songs are well received. I hope audiences will come to the hall to watch the film” said the director.

Ena said that the shooting experience was amazing. “We shot in Kolkata and Kashmir. So it was shooting in two extremes- one is a hot place and one is a cold place. The director is a cool director” said Ena.

She also said “Whenever I listen to a story, I listen to it as an audience. If I like it as an audience, I say yes to a film. When I listened to the story, I felt that this is what is happening in our lives regularly. So I thought that I should produce this film”.

Yash said that he loved the concept of the film and that is what made him accept the film. The film is an urbane film and the hence the music is also different, added the actor.

The film will release on 27^th May.
