Chef Ralph Prazeres, the award-winning young chef and culinary force behind Goa’s beloved Praça Prazeres and Padaria Prazeres, will be doing a special kitchen takeover at Little Bit Sober, Kolkata’s true-blue cocktail bar known for its creative mixology and artistic expression, on June 14. The event is a part of Little Bit Sober’s month-long celebration of its second anniversary, which includes a carefully planned schedule of activities that emphasise teamwork, artistry, and originality.

Chef Ralph’s first pop-up in Kolkata is this exclusive partnership, which brings with it the refined flavours, global flair, and signature simplicity that have come to define his culinary identity. A specially designed dinner menu and an exclusive cocktail menu created by Little Bit Sober with Makazai rum—the evening’s official spirits partner—are in store for guests. An immersive and evocative cross-cultural experience is promised during this one-night-only event.

Chef Ralph explains that the restaurant Praça Prazeres has always served straightforward, well-prepared food that is influenced by regional ingredients and European customs. “I was drawn to Little Bit Sober right away because of its love of fine craftsmanship and Bengali-inspired cocktails. I can’t wait to work with you to create a genuinely thoughtful dining experience and introduce a little bit of Goa to Kolkata,” said the chef.

Drawing from Ralph’s personal recollections and culinary education in Lisbon, London, and Copenhagen—including his tenure at the internationally renowned Noma—the evening’s menu will include a variety of traditional European dishes with a Goan flair. The experience, which is based on simple, technique-driven cooking, will highlight premium ingredients and genuine flavours.

Makazai rum is the official spirits partner for the evening.
