The grand book launch of Cheka-The Road of Bones took place in the esteemed presence of the author Advocate Joydeep Mukherjee, Major General G D Bakshi, Colonel Raghav, Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta, Justice Ashok Kumar Dasadhikari, Justice Rabindranath Samanta, Brigadier Debasish Das, and others. 

Cheka, The Road of Bones, a book published by Advocate Joydeep Mukherjee and translated by Professor Nila Das, makes an effort to cast doubt on the circumstances surrounding Netaji‘s disappearance and suggests a possible Soviet connection. The book hopes to inform all the enquiring Netaji followers about undiscovered facts on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence.

In honor of Azad Hind Fouz, who gave the ultimate sacrifice to deliver India’s independence, the prominent guests and the author himself asked the Government of India to establish an INA memorial at Rajpath in New Delhi during the book launch event. Additionally, the Central Government has been asked to take action with the Russian Government to ensure that the top-secret 41 files about Subhas Chandra Bose are declassified and the truth is known.
