Mahalaya or the win of Ma Durga over the evil Mahisashura is enjoyed not only by the elders in the family but also by the younger family members. Keeping this in mind, Zee Bangla has come up with Chhotoder Mahalaya consisting of Debi Durgar Asur Bodh and Durga Maer Jaddoo Laddoo which will be aired on 8^th October and showcase two stories.

The classic tale of mahisashur mardini will be narrated in Debi Durgar Asur Bodh. The story will be told by a grandfather to his grandchildren, but with a twist. As the narration goes on, the story is seen unfolding but with all the characters in child form, including mahisashur and mahisashur mardini. The story will also include how Debi Mahamaya was named Ma Durga. This will be aired at 10 pm.

Durga Maer Jaddoo Laddoo will show magical laddoos created by Ma Durga falling from heaven which are found by a poor boy named Joy. Ma Durga sends her 4 children in search of these laddoos and a magical tale start after Joy consumes the laddoo and gets special powers. What happens next? To know more, watch the episode at 9 pm.
