Zee Cine Awards 2020 was a star studded event. Due to the Coronavirus spread, the organisers of the award show decided to keep the award show a closed door event. No audience or general public was present as guests. The stars who were awarded and those who were called to perform on stage were present at the event.

Ayushmann Khurrana was honoured with the Best Entertainer of the Year award while Kartik Aaryan won the Best Comic Performance award for his role in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 star Siddanth Chaturvedi won the Best Male Debutante trophy for ‘Gully Boy’, while Ananya Pandey won the female equivalent of the award for ‘Student Of The Year 2’.

Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor (Male) in a Leading Role award for his performance in director Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’. Taapsee Pannu won the Best Actress award for her role in ‘Badla’.

Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh among other stars performed at the event.

The televised event will be aired on March 28 on Zee TV and Zee Cinema.
