The Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) observed Foundation Day in the presence of young and adult patients who underwent complex transplant procedure and other complicated treatments. The hospital observed 52 years of clinical efficiency and gave a second lease of life to many patients.

A press meet was organized in the presence of Dr. Raja Dhar, Dr. Shyam Krishnan, Dr. Arjun Dasgupta, Dr. Pradeep Chakraborty, Dr. Rajeev Sinha, and Dr. Rakesh Rajput.

Also gracing the occasion was Dr. Simmardeep Gill, CEO, CK Birla Hospitals.

The patients who graced the occasion were Sagar Jana (kidney failure), Soni Lami (kidney transplant), Aahir Roy (hearing and speech loss since birth), Savitri Devi (suffered from Mucormycosis), and Sriyanko Dutta (lost finger due to an accident).

Dr. Raja Dhar said “Do not let any disease or complication in your body conquer your mind. Be positive. Come to us whenever there is a problem and we will help you out in the best way possible. The determination of many patients often gives us the strength to go forward and solve such complex cases”.
