A Mahalaya episode in Mangal Chandi is the highlight of Colors Bangla’s Mahalaya special.

Dhanapati is being sent to Gaur by the king who plans to have him attacked by pirates. Khullona forewarned by some ominous signs prays to Chandi or deliverance. Chandi is unsure how to proceed in the plan without interfering in the order of things. It is then that Mahadev reminds her how she has always taken up arms for the greater good like she did when Mahishashur rose to power and the gods were helpless to stop him.

Nabanita plays the role of Maa Chandi. The actress made her debut in Aponjon aired on COLORS Bangla. Nabanita Malakar was last seen as Nafisa in Arabya Rajani and before that as Lakhipriya in Mahaprabhu Sree Chaitanya.

The Mahalaya part will be on air on 28^th September at 7.30 pm.
