Colors Bangla New Serial Khonar Bochon; Showcases Life of Poet and Astrologer Khona
Colors Bangla’s new serial Khonar Bochon will showcase the life and works of popular Indian poet and legendary astrologer Khona. Her poetry which she composed in the 9th and 12th centuries AD is well known for its agricultural themes.
Khona was born into the royal family of Singhal and was a devotee of Mahadev. Since her childhood she was extremely brilliant and started her education in astrology and horoscope. She was not only trained in all the arts of warfare like archery, horse riding, sword fighting, martial arts but was also a specialist in arts, culture, music and dance. From the time when Khona was a teen her predictions was flawless. Khona falls in love with Mihir, the son of the great astrologer of Vikramaditya’s court Varaha Pandit. Khana with her predictions enables Mihir to find out his home and father. The biggest crisis in Khana’s life comes when she comes into a conflict with her father-in-law Varaha and her predictions are contrary to that of his. A lot of family problems arise due to this and in order to maintain her father-in-law’s respect she decides to cut off her tongue so that she is unable to make any further prophesies.
The launch promo focuses on the tussle between Khona and her father in law.
Oindrilla plays the role of Khona and Badshah Moitra plays the role of Varaha.
