The state winners who will compete in the grand finale of Femina Miss India 2024, co-powered by Tops & Rajnigandha Pearls, have been declared. The 60th Femina Miss India winner will have the chance to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World pageant. With this breakthrough, the contest is one step closer to finding the next worldwide beauty legend from India. The pageant’s historic edition is set to be a magnificent show that honors the event’s rich past while embracing Indian womanhood’s future.

An enormous amount of people responded to the pageant’s demanding five-month nationwide selection process. The pageant held online screenings before touring five cities in each of the country’s zones: North (Delhi-NCR), East (Kolkata), North East (Guwahati), South (Bengaluru), and West (Mumbai). Thousands of contestants participated in regional auditions, where they vied for their respective state titles.

The thirty state winners—each representing an Indian state (29, including Delhi) and a common representative for the Union Territories (1)—were chosen from a pool of thirty contestants who will compete at the grand finale event. The top five finalists from each state were shortlisted and invited to Mumbai for the mega auditions.

At the aforementioned tryouts, a distinguished jury panel comprised of industry insiders and past pageant winners assessed the contestants based on a range of factors, such as appearance, physical fitness, communication abilities, intelligence, personality, stage presence, body language, and confidence. These state champions exemplify what it means to be a modern, empowered Indian woman.

The state winners of Femina Miss India 2024 will take part in a boot camp that consists of a variety of events like training sessions, photo shoots for digital content, promotional trips, contests with subtitles, rounds of personal interviews, an awards ceremony, and a grand finale coronation night.
