Saltlake Drishti Centre for Learning Disability organised a fundraising Cultural Charity Show “Folk Sutra 2019”.

Learning disability is a hidden handicap unlike any other disabilities like blindness or paralysis. The children with such disabilities may have attention problem, reading or writing problems, poor organization skill and so on. This can be a lifelong condition and in some cases can affect many parts of a person’s life.

Students with various learning disabilities have average to above average intelligence level. They may have difficulties in demonstrating their understanding and knowledge skills. This leads to a discrepancy between their achievement and intellectual abilities.

Drishti works in the fields of parent counselling, behaviour training, self help, functional training and others.

Abhijit Bose, Iman Chakraborty, Upal Sengupta, Enakshi Bhattacharya performed at the program.

Susmita Nag, founder of Saltlake Drishti Centre for Learning Disability was also present at the program.
