Daal Baati Churma (Chocchori) Explores Love Between A Rajasthani Boy And A Bengali Girl
The poster launch of the upcoming Bengali film Daal Baati Churma (Chocchori) took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.
Directed by ace director Haranath Chakraborty, the film is essentially a romantic drama.
The film’s story shows the union of two states namely West Bengal and Rajasthan. The romance between the Rajasthani boy and the Bengali girl is the main crux of the story. However, the film is a family drama that also lays stress on the human values and culture of the two states.
Daal Baati Churma (Chocchori) stars real-life pair Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. Bonny plays Ananda Singh Chauhan while Koushani plays the role of Barsha in this film.
Speaking about the film, Koushani said “Bengalis love to eat. And we all know that the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. The name of the film already is garnering much curiosity among the audience. Let the film release and then they will understand why this has been so named”.
The film cast consists of Rajatava Dutta and Kharaj Mukherjee who will be seen playing the role of Bonny and Koushani‘s reel-life father respectively.
The film is produced by BK Entertainment and Ravi Bhalotia.
