Dance With The Rising Stars- Showcase Of Skill, & Tenacity
The finale of the Dance with The Rising Stars event, which was designed specifically for the children of Indian Army and Eastern Command officers, took place at the Albert Ekka Auditorium in Fort William, Kolkata. The young, rising talents displayed amazing talent at the event exclusively presented by Canara HSBC Life Insurance’s GARV (defence distribution channel) in collaboration with the Indian Army and Eastern Command. Through this special project, “GARV,” a specific distribution channel of the company, supports, empowers, and enriches the lives of national heroes in uniform by offering them and their families financial security and life safety.
The event was graced by Lt. Gen. R. C. Srikanth, VSM – Chief Of Staff (COS) HQ Eastern Command, Mrs. Aashima Srikanth – Regional Vice President Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Eastern Command, Mr. James Abraham – Chief Sales Officer Alternate Channels and Mr. Gaurav Pareek – Channel Head Defence Channel, Canara HSBC Life Insurance.
After receiving more than 600 entries in two categories (Talent Teens and Little Stars), 75 outstanding performers were chosen to compete in the Semi-Finals, which took place at four Corps sites. After fierce competition, 12 finalists were selected, and they were given expert advice by renowned judges and specialists. The culmination of the occasion was a breathtaking exhibition of skill, tenacity, and childlike joy.
The winners are as follows:
Little Stars category- Palakshi Mehta from Dimapur, Arushi Barman from Siliguri, and M. Velantina Chanu from Shillong.
Talent Teens, Komalpreet Kaur from Missamari, Annliya B. Joseph from Dimapur, and Shambhavi Bahuguna from Panagarh.
Audience Choice Award was bestowed upon Komalpreet Kaur.
