The film is a remake of a Malayalam film. The director of the film is Jay Krishnan.

The picture of the actress was seen by the casting director on social media. She was asked to audition in Mumbai for the film. She gave the audition and bagged the job. The actress will be sharing screen with Emraan and Imaad Shah.

A schedule of the film is already complete. The next schedule will begin in Mumbai and Mauritius. Darshana will join the team there.
