Davaindia’s New Initiative To Combat Domestic Violence
Davaindia has become a well-known name that is synonymous with generic medicine. The company has now announced a new initiative for combating domestic violence in India.
The announcement was made at a press conference in India by Dr. Sujit Paul, Group CEO of Zota Healthcare Ltd.
Speaking at the launch of the initiative, Dr. Paul said “It is important that women are aware of what constitutes domestic violence. They must protest from the first instance if they feel that they are becoming victims of any kind of domestic violence. It is through that way can stop this chain of domestic violence”.
The program consists of:
- Launch of a helpline for giving immediate help to the survivors.
- Community workshops will help in educating and empowering individuals to understand and recognize domestic violence.
- To collaborate with important stakeholders to create a sustainable framework to address domestic violence.
Through this initiative, Davaindia wants to build a safe and more equitable society for everyone. This program is an ideal representation of Hope, Action, and Commitment to address such a critical issue in our society.
