The organizer of the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K, Procam International, described the preparations made for Sunday, December 18, including the availability of medical services.

The Tata Steel Kolkata will be telecast live on Sony Sports1 & Sony Sports1 HD from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. The event will also be streamed live on Sony liv.

The route’s single-way nature is among its most significant features. This won’t bother the populace and will significantly help alleviate traffic congestion. A clean, open path will also be provided for the top athletes.

RACE DAY ARRANGEMENTS

Medical Arrangements by Fortis

• Trained medical personnel present at all stations to deal with any kind of emergencies
• Around 25 nurses and 20 doctors are on call
• 7 medical stations along the route
• 8 ambulances on the route
• 8 paramedics on Bikes along the race route to ensure help is made available at all times.
• Around 10 Physiotherapist
• Spotters placed every 100m during the last 2 km of the race to identify participants who need medical attention

The race route water stations will be managed by Striders, Lake Running Squad, North Kolkata Runners, and Salt Lake Runners, and the Energy station will be managed by Jayanagar Jaguars. The runner groups will also motivate the participants to achieve their goals.

ECO-STRIDE – 100% WASTE-MANAGED RACE

Procam International’s distance running events are 100% waste-managed events, with a focus on managing waste through the 6R PRINCIPAL – RETHINK, REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE & REPLACE.

On-the-spot Registrations

For the first time, on-the-spot registrations for Ananda Run, 25K, and Champions with Disability will be available during the two-day Mirchi Get Active Expo at the Khudiram Anushilan Kendra between December 16 and 17.

Senior government figures, movie stars, and foreign delegations are expected at the opening of the International Film Festival India on Thursday at the Netaji Indoor Stadium. The Kolkata Police has ordered that the Mirchi Get Active Expo, which is where runners may pick up their bib numbers, be open ONLY on:
