After the stupendous success of Moner Manush, actor Devtanu will now be seen as an ideal boyfriend in Rohan Sen’s new film Aparajita.

The film mainly focuses on the complex relationship between a father and a daughter. The father’s role will be played by Shantilal Mukherjee while Tuhina Das will play the role of the daughter, Aparajita. Devtanu will be seen as Aparajita’s lover in this upcoming Bengali film.

He plays an ideal boyfriend  Saheb that is coveted by most girls.

When asked about how he bagged the role in this film, the actor said that the director contacted him suddenly one day and offered this role to him. He fell in love with the story immediately. He was impressed with the clear vision of the young director.

The story of Aparajita shows that the father and the daughter do not share a good relationship. They maintain their relationship with the help of a diary. Aparajita works in a corporate company. She is in a relationship with Saheb. She expresses her anger, pain, angst to her boyfriend Saheb. As the story progresses, the father and daughter’s relationship becomes more complex.

Amrita Dey, Rana Basu Thakur will be seen in other important roles in the film.

The shooting of the film has just ended and it is in the post-production stage.

Flatmate is another work done by Devtanu that has been released recently. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Raja Chanda’s Katakuti. He will also be seen in a futuristic web film after the Pujas. The film will be directed by Abhishek Choudhury.
