Director Rajaditya Banerjee’s Death of Death To Travel To Toronto Indian Film Festival in July 2020
Director Rajaditya Banerjee’s documentary film Death of Death has been well appreciated by the critics. The film is an Indo-Finnish joint venture. The film is in English and Hindi and the duration is of 60 minutes.
The film is a story of the Dom King, who gives Hindus, travelling to Varanasi, the moksh fire to light the pyres of their loved ones. It is believed that it helps to liberate them from the cycle of birth, death and reincarnation.
Rajaditya who lives in Finland is the brother of eminent Bengali director Bappaditya Banerjee.
After making the death trilogy namely, Death Certificate, Shiva Ratri and Shob Bahika, he made this documentary Death of Death.
The music of the film has been composed by Shamita Ghosh and Rajaditya Banerjee. The concept and script is also by Rajaditya Banerjee.
‘The Death of Death’ will travel to Toronto Indian Film Festival in July.
