Writing love letters to your significant other is one of the most romantic things you can do. One of the most private things you can do is write someone a handwritten note in which you communicate your warmth and feelings. In addition to the touching tale it is planned to present to its viewers, hoichoi’s upcoming series Dakghor also features a very endearing achievement by the production team.

As ambassadors for hoichoi and team Dakghor, Hagda’s very own Monjori (Ditipriya Roy) and Damodar (Suhotra Mukhopadhyay) set out to revive the lost art of letter writing. They called this initiative “Khushir Daak” and visited the city’s most popular “lover spots” while handing out a tonne of love letters to the populace.

The two visited well-known areas in Kolkata to hand out 500+ letters, each of which featured a cheery message intended to brighten the recipient’s day. In addition, each letter also included a unique coupon code that enabled recipients to save 20% on their hoichoi subscription. Massive crowds gathered to show their support for Ditipriya and Suhotra, exchanging tales, taking pictures, admiring their past achievements, and, of course, expressing excitement for the arrival of Dakghor. The reaction was incredible and truly a festival of love.
