A celebration of unusual regional dishes that provide a unique perspective on the country’s evolving cuisine, Beyond the Sea at The Verandah, an all-day dining establishment at Taj TaalKutir in Kolkata, brings diverse flavors straight from Sri Lanka. This rich stew of Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences combined with Tamil Nadu’s traditional flavor will captivate with its unique dedication to using local ingredients until March 31st.

The culinary team at Taj TaalKutir in Kolkata has created a smorgasbord with unique flavors and tastes that offer a unique perspective on the nation’s changing culinary scene. Being diverse with other regional staples that have been influenced by other cultures while remaining inclusive with rice, fish, and coconut.

Some of the must-try dishes are Mutton Rolls, Ambul Thiyal, Lamprias, Chicken Kottu Roti, Srilankan Cashew Curry, Kallu Dodol, and Watalappam.
