A press meet was organized to announce Just Studio’s new biographical documentary web series Jibanananda-The Thinker. Today is the birthday of the renowned poet and Just Studio took the opportunity to announce this documentary web series.

Gracing the occasion was Suchandra Vaaniya, CEO Just Studio, Gautam Mitra, Jibanananda Das Researcher and Chief Mentor, actors Anindya Banerjee, Debdut Ghosh, music director Joy Shankar, and poet Saswati Mitra.

Speaking at the press meet, Suchandra Vaaniya said “This is not a simple biography like the other biographies. It will show the life and works of the poet and what went in his mind when he was composing a particular work”.

Gautam Mitra highlighted the fact that many places where the poet stayed in the city will soon be demolished. Hence he thought that this was the apt time to do such a project so that facts about the eminent poet could be retained for the future generation.

Debdut Ghosh has recited some poems in the web series. The actor felt that it was an important web series and will help future generations to know about the contributions and work of the poet. The way the web series has captured the abstraction will appeal to the audience.

Produced by Suchandra Vaaniya and presented by Just Studio, it is a four-episode web series directed by Anindya Banerjee.

The web series on the eminent Bengali poet will be available exclusively on Just Studio’s YouTube channel.

The first episode of the web series is already out now.
