Drama Bodhayana By Bay Area Creative Dance Academy To Worship Mother Goddess
Due to the global pandemic, the world is on its knees. Coronavirus is not only a pandemic but a demonic force. Due to the spread of the pandemic, countries have been under lockdown and this has been affecting their economies too. In the midst of all these problems, it is that time of the year when we worship Ma Durga and seek her blessings.
Durga Puja is just around the corner and despite what we may feel due to the pandemic there are many puja committees who are gearing up to celebrate the advent of Ma Durga.
The San Francisco Bay Area Creative Dance Academy will be worshipping the Mother Goddess in a different role. The effort that they have taken is not only unique but also unforgettable. To worship the goddess, they have composed Bodhayana which is a heartfelt drama that will be released soon on all the online streaming platforms.
The program was co-directed by Mrs.Dalia Sen from Bay Area and the music was directed by Shuven Khatua. The play was written and directed by Kushal Chatterjee. More than 60 Bay Area residents and artists are involved in various roles in the drama.
Dalia Sen, the director of the program, said that they have completed the work of the drama like rehearsing, planning, shooting, recording by adhering to the social distancing norms. Many Kolkata artisans have also helped them in this drama.
The show will be available on Bay Area Creative Dance Academy’s YouTube and Facebook pages from 8:30 a.m. (Indian time) on October 3 around the world.
