Drugs, Narcotics and Terrorism Form Crux of Upcoming Bengali Film Blast
A press meet was organized for the upcoming Bengali film Blast. Present at the occasion was Tota Roy Chowdhury, Orin, Amrita Chatterjee, Debjani Chatterjee, Agnimitra Paul, director Mahua Chakraborty and others.
The main crux of the story revolves around drugs, narcotics, terrorism and action. The story has been framed around the American Center attack.
The shooting of the film has been shot in Vizag, Kolkata and other places.
“The story has many elements which are of a universal nature. Hence I said yes to the film. The story weaved is very beautiful. I play a professor in the film” said Tota Roy Chowdhury. The actor has already completed shooting for a Kannada film which is his debut Kannada film and another film Arokto’s shooting is in progress.
Amrita Chatterjee plays the role of a thirty something woman with two kids. The actress revealed that when she was offered the role, she was surprised as she had to play such a character.
The film is by Trina Films and the producer is Tarun Das.
The film is eyeing for release soon.
