Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha Puja Committee organized an event titled Unmochan. It was an unconventional adda session on Durga Puja.

This was followed by the unveiling of the logo of the Puja Committee and the banner of Durga Puja 2023.

Koneenica Banerjee, Jimmy Tangree, and other eminent guests graced the occasion.

It was in 1999 that this Puja Committee’s Baroyari Durga Puja donned a new format with help from artist Rupchand Kundu. It was in that year that they began their first theme-based puja. The pandal and the idol were erected in line with the artistic theme. Their presentation received much praise from the audience and the media alike.

Apart from this, the Puja Committee also organizes activities like eye check-up camps, organizing health camps, regularly distributing clothes to the poor, and many more such activities.

Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha Puja Committee comes up with new themes every year. This year also the Puja Committee members mentioned that they will be coming up with something unique during Durga Puja.
