Producer Prerna Arora is back with another moving film, named Dunk. She has previously backed socially conscious topics in films. The film clarifies the widespread problem of the land mafia and how farmers are impacted by it. The goal of the Abhishek Jaiswal-directed movie is to start a dialogue and increase public awareness of the exploitation of land resources.

Prerna Arora discussed the initiative and how it exposes the government’s misunderstanding of the agriculture industry. She stated that she also thinks films can alter society. “Dunk emphasizes the critical necessity for support networks, enforcement strategies, and legislative safeguards to preserve farmers’ rights. As a society, we have to unify against the threat of land-grabbing, hold those responsible accountable, and support laws that strengthen and safeguard our agricultural sector” said Arora.

Producer Prerna Arora has already given her support to a project that addresses a social issue. Earlier she backed films like ‘Padman’, ‘Rustom’ and ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ among others.

Her next project, Dunk, sheds light on the problems farmers and the communities impacted by the land mafia confront in addition to bringing attention to the problem.

The film stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Shivin Narang, and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, among others.
