The much awaited Education Interface 2024, presented by Career Planner Edu Fair was inaugurated at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The purpose of this event was to improve educational and career development opportunities.

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Bratya Basu, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Higher Education and School Education Dept., Govt. of West Bengal, Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Mayor & Minister for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs & Minister of Agriculture, Govt. of West Bengal, Mala Roy, Hon’ble Chairperson Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) & Member of Parliament at Kolkata (South), Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group, Manashi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group and others.

Aspiring students, recent graduates, and business leaders from throughout the nation convened at one location to engage with leaders in the business, training facilities, and esteemed educational institutions.

By bringing together academia and business, Education Interface 2024 hopes to give participants the knowledge and insights they need to successfully navigate their professional trajectories.

With strong support from government officials, business leaders, and academic institutions, the first edition of India’s Premier professional Education Fair marks a significant milestone and has the potential to impact the country’s professional education landscape.

Firhad Hakim said “I wish there were such fairs when we were students. A few years ago the trend was to either go outside Kolkata or abroad for higher studies in different sectors. But now the scenario has changed and students can get different courses in Kolkata alone”.

Career education goes well beyond what is taught in textbooks. Education Interface 2024 acts as a focal point for colleges and institutions. This event gives parents and students a unique chance to speak with representatives from a variety of educational institutions in-person, enabling them to plan their academic futures and make well-informed selections. It’s about democratising possibilities and information access so that eager learners and their families can easily navigate the various educational landscape without encountering any obstacles.
