Adamas University hosted Ekam, a celebration of Founder’s Day that brought together staff, instructors, and students in a spirit of festivity and harmony.

The celebrations started with a parade that continued around Adamas Knowledge City’s AWS (Adamas World School) field, with nominated students from the university’s ten schools participating. The Ekam hymn echoed in the background as the victorious school was crowned with a shield.

Chancellor, of Adamas University, Samit Ray, hoisted the university flag and delivered an address to the gathered attendees. The Mashal lighting ceremony, conducted by Chancellor Samit Ray, Vice Chancellor Suranjan Das, and Deans, marked the official inauguration of Ekam—Founder’s Day.

A fascinating display titled “Unity in Diversity” featured one-of-a-kind exhibits from the North, South, West, East, and foreign zones on the premises. The occasion included a variety of cultural programming that offered a lively window into the great diversity of the campus community.

The celebrations will run from Tuesday through Thursday. On January 9, there will be panel talks and a literary character exhibition. The ten schools of the university will showcase a sustainability display the next day. A closing ceremony with cultural programs, dancing performances, and award-giving is part of the grand finale on January 11. From January 8 to January 10, there will be an intra-university sporting event in conjunction with Ekam.

Ekam embodies Adamas University’s community spirit, which values unity above difference. This celebration is proof of their one goal and the power that comes from loyalty.
