Eken Babu has become immensely famous since its inception. The detective will soon be seen in a new film The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan.

SVF in collaboration with The Heritage Academy organized the trailer launch event for its upcoming Bengali film The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan.

Eken Babu alias Anirban Chakrabarti, his two favorite buddies Bapi (Suhotra Mukhopadhyay) and Pramatha (Somak Ghosh), Sandipta Sen, and Rajatava Dutta graced the trailer launch event.

The mystery-thriller film is directed by Joydeep Mukherjee.

The trailer centers on Eken Babu and his two sidekicks Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Somak Ghosh. While on vacation in vibrant Rajasthan, where the nostalgia of Sonar Kella hits hard to all the Bengalis, suddenly a mystery intensifies. the Professor of Archaeology at Oxford University, Shatadru Ghosh, played by Rajatava Ghosh, alerts Eken Babu to his suspicions regarding a specific idol he had seen in London that has gone missing. The film also features the talented and intelligent Rajesh Sharma who is a professor of chemistry and relic preserver. The film promises to present a fun-filled adventure set in lively Rajasthan.

“Eken Babu is a really meaningful figure in my journey as an actor”, said Anirban Chakrabarti, who was excited to play the role. “It was quite amazing to witness the trailer launch in front of the students. The audience will certainly enjoy this intriguing experience because we spent a lot of time filming in Rajasthan this time. This time, the case’s circumstances will make everyone observing, including the public, wonder” added the actor.

Sandipta Sen, who will play a curator at the Jaisalmer Museum, said that she had a lot of pleasure filming in Rajasthan’s beautiful locales. Eken is adored by people of all ages. “The audience will have to wait because I am not allowed to reveal anything about my persona. They will know about it once the film releases” said the actress.

‘The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan’ is set to release in theatres on 14 April coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Poila Boisakh.
