Even since the web series on Eken Babu was aired, the Bengali sleuth has been getting much love from the audience. After the success of the web series, the first film featuring the sleuth was released. The film of Eken Babu titled The Eken was released in 2022. The sleuth Eken Babu, Bapi, and Pramatha went on a vacation in Darjeeling and their vacation becomes embroiled in a mystery.

The upcoming Bengali film “The Eken, Ruddhaswas Rajasthan”, whose official logo was just unveiled, will see the return of the quick-witted, sharp-tongued, iconic Bengali sleuth Eken Babu. This time the Bengali sleuth will travel to Rajasthan along with his two friends Bapi and Pramatha.

Anirban Chakrabarti, Suhotro Mukhopadhyay, and Somak Ghosh will be back again in The Eken Ruddhaswas Rajasthan.

The film will be directed by Joydeep Mukherjee.

Rajatava Dutta and Sandipta Sen will also be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The background music for this movie will be composed by Subhadeep Guha, a musician who has previously received a great deal of praise for the wonderful musical tracks of Ballabhpurer Roopkotha. This time, Rammyodip Saha will handle the cinematography of the film.

The brilliant Bengali investigator while spending a vacation in vibrant Rajasthan with Bapi and Pramatha stumbles into a mystery that upends their world in the upcoming mystery hunt movie.

The tale is based on Sujan Dasgupta‘s original tale of Ekenbabu.

The shooting will start on the 1st of December and will mostly be shot in the beautiful locales of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.

The film is expected to release in the theatres in 2023.
